Keith D. Neaderhiser, age 64, beloved husband of Linda, loving father of John, his daughter-in-law Kirsten, and grandfather of their children, Lucas, Matthew and Kate, died on April 30, 2008 in Arlington Heights, IL. Keith and Linda made their home in Buffalo Grove, IL.
Keith was born in Concordia, KS to Warren K. Neaderhiser and Margaret R.
Trott Neaderhiser on March 5, 1944. Keith was a graduate of Solomon High school and he received a bachelor's degree from Kansas State University and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Illinois. He served his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1971. After his military service, he was a successful investment banker, small business owner and guitar player.
His family enjoyed his unconditional love, the benefits of his intellect, and the laughter generated by his quick wit. He exemplified courage and dignity in his struggle with Parkinson's Disease and cancer. He inspired those around him with his ability to see the positive side of everything in life.
He is also survived by his sisters and their families: Coleen and Jerry Seim of Salina, KS; Diane Matteson of Manhattan, KS; Nancy and Doug Michaelis of Salina, KS; Darlene and Brad Boyer of Peyton, CO; his sister-in-law, Carole Colbert of Springfield, IL; and 9 nieces and nephews and their families.
Funeral services will be at 10 A.M., Tuesday at the United Church of Bennington. Burial will be in Bennington Cemetery with military honors by McConnell Air Force Base. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 P.M. Monday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 P.M
