Katherine E. White, 94, of Minneapolis, a former Beloit resident, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the Ottawa County Health Center.
She was born May 9, 1914 at Kansas City, Missouri to Walter and Louise Kettle Payne. She was united in marriage to Kenneth B. White, Sr. in 1932 at Mankato, Kansas. All their married life was spent in Beloit, Kansas. Her husband preceded her in death in 1971.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth B. White of Solomon; two daughters, Patricia Jones of Ellsworth and Penny Foulke of Ness City; a sister Lida Virginia Haines of Knightdale, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery, Beloit, with the Rev. Helen Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 P.M. Wednesday at the cemetery. Memorials to the Ottawa County Health Center in lieu of flowers are suggested.
