Judith Raye Liby, 81, Cheney Ks, died Saturday, September 27, 2025. She was born July 9, 1944, in Salina, to A.J. and Irma (Stuck) Shanahan.

Judi and Stanley K. Liby were married on October 6, 1962.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley K. Liby, Sr.; and siblings, Jan Smith, Nancy McClintock, Sally Stewart, Debbie Shanahan, Deanna Nash, J.P. Shanahan, and Carolyn Kasper.

Survivors are her children, Jill Versluys and her husband John, Stanley Liby, Jr., Greg Liby and his wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Shayla Liby, Nathan Liby, Kylie Liby, Canyon Liby, Abby Versluys, and Aspen Liby; and three great-grandchildren; siblings, Tony Shanahan, Bill Shanahan, Sue Porter, Kathleen Garst, Jeanne Lee.

Judi found joy in the simple pleasures of life – decorating her home, sewing, reading, playing solitaire, and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 P.M., Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to the Minneapolis High Alumni Scholarship Fund and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
