Obituary

Joseph A. "Jody" Keim, 75, Beverly, died Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the Salina Regional Health Center surrounded by his family. He was born March 27, 1940 near Ada to Joseph Vincent George and Alice (Van Meter) Keim.

He was a 1958 graduate of Beverly High School. He was united in marriage with Elaine Kissick on June 3, 1962. In his earlier years of working, he was a heavy equipment operator doing dirt construction. Jody worked on various projects including the building of Interstate 35 and Wilson Lake. He later worked for many years as a machinist for Beechcraft.

Jody was a member of the Beverly United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, and the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Elaine; and brothers Jim and Bob.

Survivors include his daughter Jennifer McClure and her husband Rob and Shawn Keim and his wife Nancy; brother Norman Keim; five grandchildren Zachary, Zane, and Weston McClure and Kaden and Alexandra Keim; and great-grandson Mason McClure.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial will be in the Beverly Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:30. Memorials may be made to the Beverly United Methodist Church.
