John Welch (1935-2013) of Minneapolis, Kansas; passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013 in Littleton, Colorado surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by Daughter - Renee Couch of Littleton, Colorado, Son and Daughter in Law Perry and Dawn Welch of Falcon Colorado, Daughter and Son in Law Melanie and Michael Linnebur of Littleton, Colorado; 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild; Brother Larry Welch of Minneapolis, Kansas; 3 nieces and 1 nephew and numerous friends. John was a retiree (1986) of the Denver, Colorado Fire Department where he served at the rank of Captain. We are mourning a man who in many ways was larger than life - we loved him so very much and miss him.
He is preceded in death by wife Isabel, and granddaughter Hannah Cheyenne Welch.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in late March in Minneapolis, Kansas.
