John Duane Chapman, 62, Wakefield, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Salina Regional Health Center. He was born May 21, 1954 in Clay Center to Floyd and Ruth (Seals) Chapman.

John was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Charles and Mary Seal and Herbert and Gertrude Chapman; brother Larry Chapman; and nephews Petey Blevins, Chris Blevins, and John McClure.

Survivors include his wife Deb Chapman; children Courtney Smith, Cody Parks and wife Whitney, and Cole and Cale Chapman; sisters Marcy Chapman, Sandy Bieker and husband Charles, and Marilyn McClure and husband Gilbert; and five grandchildren Keanua, Cordel, Kaden, Kingsly, and Kelis.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. in Highland Cemetery, Wakefield. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M.
