Jodi M. Shea, 53, Minneapolis, passed into eternity unexpectedly in her sleep on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. When she awoke, she was in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Jodi was born September 1, 1963 in Topeka to William L. and Dorothy (Gaston) Klein.

She was a 1981 graduate of Shawnee Heights High School. Jodi then attended and graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.

Jodi and Mitchell Shea were united in marriage on October 18, 1997.  She worked as a contract occupational therapist throughout her career most recently at the Good Samaritan Society – Minneapolis.

She was a loving and kind hearted lady who loved her family.

Jodi was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Michael Kurtze.

Survivors include her husband, Mitch; son, Jacob; daughter, Abby; brother, Warren Lynn Kurtze; sister, Kathy Annillo (Al); and a large host of family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, Jodi's body was donated to the University of Kansas Medical Center. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 19 at the Bennington Bible Church, 824 N. Nelson, Bennington. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ottawa County Health Center Physical Therapy Department and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
