Jerry Wayne Douglas, 65, Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2013 at his home with his wife at his side.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Diana of the home; son James and his wife Cory of Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren Kristen, Joshua, and Matthew; daughter Jennifer of Sterling, VA; brother Al of Tuscaloosa; sister Rene and her husband Jay of Tuscaloosa; niece Rachael; and nephew Nick.

A celebration of Jerry's life will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Cremation will follow the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the V.F.W.
