James "Jim" Benson, 79, Salina, died Friday, December 25, 2015. He was born June 7, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Jim retired as a Master Sergeant of 32 years from the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife Naomi of the home; three sons Bob Benson of Salina, Ted Benson of Ottawa, and Rick Benson of Winfield; daughter Julie Benson of Florida; and one granddaughter Erin Benson. He's also survived by four step-children Kim Haas of Salina, Ed Arnold of Salina, Ty Arnold of Bennington, and Guy Arnold of Watertown, SD; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services with military honors will be at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 29 at the Bennington Bible Church. There will be no visitation and burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bennington Bible Church.
