Obituary

Jacob Franklin Cornelison Kelley, 71, Minneapolis, died Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. He was born April 28, 1945 in Petaluma, CA to J.D. and Bertha (Camenish) Kelley.
Jake attended and graduated from schools in California. On January 12, 1967, he enlisted in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on January 11, 1973 and enlisted in the reserves. Jake and Sue Lucht were united in marriage on June 12, 1984 in Bakersfield, CA. Jake worked as a head well puller in the Oil Fields in California. In 2002, he and Sue, moved to Minneapolis and he worked for Ottawa County Feeders.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Donald "Skip" Kelley; and sister Karen Kelley.
Survivors include his wife Sue, of the home; daughters Michelle Cruz and Jessica Hancock; brother J.B. Kelley; and two grandchildren David Havice and Larae Kelley.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 16 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospitals.
