Herbert B. Griggs, 72, Culver, died Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at his home.  Herb was born September 23, 1948 in Ottawa County to Harvey and Claudia (White) Griggs.

He was a 1966 graduate of Tescott High School and he served during the Vietnam era in the United States Army.  He and Bonnie Beichle were united in marriage on October 12, 1973.  He worked track maintenance for the railroad for 37 years.

Herb was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Bonnie; son, Heath (Cara) Griggs; daughters, Janette and Trisha Griggs; three grandchildren, Landyn, Navia, and Emma; sisters, Connie (Nick) Conforti and Kim (Boyd) Volker; brothers-in-law, Larry (Sharon) Beichle and Jim Beichle; and sister-in-law, Mary Beichle.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 28 at Franklin Cemetery, Tescott.  There will be no visitation.  Memorials may be made to the Tescott American Legion Post #255 and may be mailed to Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
