Helen M. Johnson, 94, Minneapolis, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021.  Helen was born March 17, 1927 in Republic County to Lyle and Grace (Goppert) Lash.

Helen was a 1945 graduate of Minneapolis High School. In 1948, she married Carrol Johnson and they farmed together northeast of Minneapolis.  They had three children – Mary, Ruth and David.  Carrol passed away in 1977 and Helen took over the management and operation of the farm.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carrol, and her brother, Glenn Lash.

Survivors are her children, Mary (David) Kimball of Elizaville, NY, Ruth (Darrell) Riekenberg of Bennington, and David (Kyla) Johnson of Minneapolis; three grandchildren, Grace (Erik) Ure, Andrew Riekenberg, and John Carrol Johnson.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 17 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis – the family will not be present.  Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Hall Wesleyan Church, rural Delphos. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hall Wesleyan Church and left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O.
