Hazel Felice Paramore (nee Rollings) died Thursday, August 17, 2017. She was born on a farm 3 miles northeast of Delphos, Kansas on March 11, 1914.  Her parents were George Franklin Rollings and Jennie Pearl Rollings (nee Truex).

She graduated from Delphos High School and taught two years in a one-room schoolhouse near Delphos.  On July 8, 1936 she married Leslie Ellison Paramore in Concordia, Kansas who died in 1980.   They lived in Delphos, Kansas; North Platte, Nebraska; Lamar, Colorado; Albuquerque, New Mexico; in 1945 moved to Kansas City, Kansas, and in 1970 moved to Minneapolis, Kansas.

While living in Kansas City, KS, Felice was an active member of Western Highlands Presbyterian church.  She sang in the church choir, played piano for Sunday school classes, taught Sunday school classes and vacation bible school. She enjoyed Parker Grade School PTA and helped that group by selling saving stamps to the students in the late 1940s and early 1950s.  For several years she was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader and she was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Also known for immense support of her daughter's activities, she will be remembered as the "chauffeur" for her daughter and many others to rehearsals, concerts, lessons and other events.

After moving to Minneapolis, KS she sang in the First Presbyterian Church choir, and enjoyed her membership in a book club and in bible study groups.

Felice was preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie Martin and grandson, Eric Martin.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Carol Loraine Martin of Cable, WI; Carol's husband Aaron Campbell, many other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M, Friday, August 25 at the Delphos Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Thursday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Memorials in her memory may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or the Ottawa County Health Center
