Harold E. Cassel, 60, Salina, died Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born November 22, 1963, in Salina to Earl and Nancy (LeFan) Cassel Briand.

Harold worked at Russell's Restaurant for 28 years and he was a loving father and Popop to his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Julie.

Survivors are his children, Scott and Kendra Cassel, Nick Cassel, Sarah and Kelly Cassel, Kaitlyn and Jacob Owen, Whittney and Luis Fleites, Jayce and Kenneth Larson; and bonus son, Averill Dewey; former wife, Paula Cayce; siblings, Charlie and Mindy; 13 grandchildren, Jakob, Jarah, Grayson, Ella, Ayvah, Dekklan, Mateo, Aaliyah, Emberlee, Astor, Ryker, Stevie, Noah, and Kadynce; and one great-grandchild, June.

Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 14 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis, KS 67467. Private family graveside services will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lamar. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist with burial expenses.
