Freddia May Baker, 81, Minneapolis, passed to her eternal rest on Wednesday April 1, 2009 in Minneapolis. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great- great grandmother.
She was born August 10, 1927 in Sycamore, Kansas to Harry and Daisy Laforce Eutsler. Freddia is survived by her husband Donald Dean Baker and daughter Alyssa Baker, all of Minneapolis; son Harry and his wife Melody Stillings of Lancaster, Tex.; step-daughter Doni Baker of Topeka; sister Blenda and husband David Blackwell of Gardendale, Ala.; son-in-law and granddaughter Jim and Kali Lewis of Minneapolis; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Douglas Eutsler and sister Waonia Eutsler Eisele.
Visitation will be from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. Friday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis. The funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home with burial in Franklin Cemetery, Tescott. Memorials to Minneapolis City Park for perennials, in care of the funeral home.
