Francis L. "Pat" Garst passed from this life into God's kingdom on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in Westmoreland, Kansas, surrounded by his family.  He was 96 years of age.

Pat was born December 29, 1924 in Glasco – the son of Mark and Eva (Jagger) Garst.  He served in the United States Navy during WWII.  Pat worked for ADM Milling for 44 years.

He was married to Thelma Ione Gaston on February 6, 1943.  After her death, he married Dorothy Stout and they moved to Beaver, OK.  She also preceded him in death.

Survivors are his children, Patty Yost, Richard (Gloria) Garst, Joe (Diane) Garst, Dale (Linda) Garst, and Cecil (Emily) Garst; three sisters, Bonnie Strutt, Cathy Smith, and Sylvia Shramek; one brother, Eldon Garst; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 6 at the Bennington Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Bennington Bible Church and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
