Frances Virginia Righter

Frances Virginia Righter, 86, of Minneapolis, formerly of Delphos, passed away Wed., Dec. 2, 2009 at Salina Regional Health Center.
She was born Apr. 1, 1923 at rural Delphos, to Clarence and Mamie Krone Stauffer. She married Carroll O.Righter Sep. 14, 1943 at Delphos.
Virginia worked as a teller at the First National Bank, Delphos, prior to her marriage. She and her husband farmed south of Delphos until moving to Minneapolis in 2006. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Women, Minneapolis.l
Survivors include her husband Carroll; a son Robert and wife Leslie of Fountain Valley, CA; a daughter Marcia and husband Dana Hauck of Delphos; a brother Darrel Stauffer of Delphos; grandchildren Michelle Foote, Angeline Hauck, Noelle Freer, Christopher, Daniel, Sophia, Genevieve and Yvette Righter and great-grandchildren Andrew, Molly, Charles and Maxwell Foote; Logan and Audrey Righter and Donovan, Calvin and Rayce Freer.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Fri. at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis, with a Prayer Vigil and Rosary at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Sat. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Delphos with burial in St. Paul's Cemetery, Delphos. Memorials to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund, in care of the funeral home.
