MINNEAPOLIS -- Ferne E. Johnson, 90, Minneapolis, formerly of rural Delphos, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008. She was born Ferne E. Adee on April 3, 1918, in Lamar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin D. Johnson, in 1992. Survivors include a daughter, Linda and husband Tom McCutcheon of Santa Maria, CA; a son, Leland Johnson and wife Sharon of Minneapolis; a brother, R.G. Adee of Great Bend; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral service: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Hall Wesleyan Church, rural Delphos. Burial in Hall Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers to Bethel Faith Home or Hall Wesleyan Church. Visitation: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis, with the family present from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
