Elwyn G. Pridey, 82, Delphos, Kansas, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Society – Minneapolis.
Elwyn was born July 4, 1927 in Longford, Kansas to Frank and Rose (George) Pridey. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher and he was a member of the Delphos United Methodist Church.
Elwyn was preceded in death by his brothers Duane and Vonley Pridey; and his sister Lorraine Miller.
Survivors include his wife Louise; his children Ann Marie Boyce and her husband Larry, Kathryn Pridey and her husband Ed Lewek, Roger Pridey and his wife Joanne, Ron Pridey and his wife Melody Julian, and Eric Pridey; his brothers Gale Pridey and his wife Laurene, Kent Pridey and his wife Mary, and Frank and his wife Betty; his sister Patricia Cleland and her husband David; his brother-in-law Howard Miller; and his sisters-in-law Ruth Pridey and Esther Pridey; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M., Saturday at the Delphos United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. Friday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis where the family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. Saturday in the Bennington Cemetery, Bennington, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
