Elsie M. "Peg" King, 85, Minneapolis, died Monday, May 7, 2012 at Smoky Hill Rehabilitation Center, Salina. She was born June 3, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York.
Peg and Russell King were united in marriage on October 21, 1955. They were co-owners and operators of Rid A Pest for many years. Peg was a member of the Community Bible Church where she and Russ were active in the AWANA program. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile.
Peg was preceded in death by her husband Russ on March 15, 2009.
Survivors include her son Ralph Rowson of Minneapolis; two grandsons, Russell Rowson of Salina and Charles Rowson of Minneapolis; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 P.M. to 7 P.M. Monday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis where the family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Cremation will follow the visitation and inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Community Bible Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.
