E.L. "Bud" Hamilton, 102, Minneapolis, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Ottawa County Health Center. He was born November 2, 1913 in Ottawa County to Lloyd and Gertrude (Lott) Hamilton.

Bud and June M. Fox were married September 4, 1936 in Minneapolis. He was a lifelong farmer.

Bud was a former member of the Bennington Cemetery Board and Bennington Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife June on December 2, 2003; siblings Lester, Arlene, Phyllis, Dorothy, and Gertrude; and daughter-in-law Mary Hamilton.

Survivors include his children Samileen Kirkland and husband Jack, Ernest J. Hamilton and wife Sharon, and Bradly F. Hamilton; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 22 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. The family will receive friends an hour before the services. Entombment will be in the Bennington Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the Bennington Fire Department.
