Edward H. Garst, 70, Delphos, died on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. Ed was born April 21, 1946 in Concordia to Edward and Hazel (Thomas) Garst.
Ed was a 1964 graduate of Glasco High School. He and Marjorie Wooley were united in marriage on December 31, 1964. Ed served in the United States Army and he worked as a truck driver for Girton Propane in Clay Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law Dillard Wooley; and his son, Edward D. "Little Ed" Garst.
Survivors include his wife Marge; daughter Angie Nebel and husband Keith; brother Tillman Garst; sister Sara Stieben; mother-in-law Gladys Wooley; grandchildren Haley, Reagan, and Harper; and great-grandson Weston.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 19 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Glasco. Burial will be in the Delphos Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
