Duane Z. Lee, 90, Tescott, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019. He was born June 1, 1928 in Tescott to Luther R. and Cora (Chambers) Lee.

He was a 1946 graduate of Tescott High School. On September 1, 1950, he was united in marriage with Marie Hansen in Bentonville, AR. Duane served in the United States Army from 1950-1952. He was a lifelong truck driver and drove for Graves Truck Line for many years. Duane was very proud of the 2 Million Mile Safe Driving Award that he received.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie; infant daughter, Jeannie Marie; and siblings, James, Merlin, Twila Werries, and Marzie Bremerman.

Survivors are his daughters, Terri (Eldon) Burroughs and Peg (Jerry) Nelson; brothers, Von and John Lee; grandchildren, Trisha Burroughs, Jeana Stelter, and Teana Nelson; and great-grandchildren, Colter, Dalton, and Jesse Stelter, Jackie, Jamie, and Rachel Milleson, and Kaitlyn Burroughs-Suter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 2 at Franklin Cemetery, Tescott. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tescott Lions Club or Tescott Fire Department.
