Dorothy Wildfong, 81, Culver, died Wednesday, July 5, 2023, in Minneapolis. Dorothy was born January 23, 1942, in Salina, to Emil and Lavergn (Smith) Marty.

Dorothy graduated from high school in 1960 and on August 18 of the same year, she and Richard Wildfong were united in marriage in Culver.  Dorothy drove a school bus and was a longtime cook at the Tescott schools.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dick on September 29, 2006; and brothers, Harold and Lyle Marty.

Survivors are her children, Bret Wildfong and wife, Sarah, Tannie Nunemaker and husband, Jeff, Kenna Gwaltney and husband, Marlin, and Cay Wildfong; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Monday, July 10, at Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis, KS 67467, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 11, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Culver Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the Culver Union Cemetery and be left in care of the funeral home.
