Dorothy E. Muller, 90, Minneapolis, died Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Ottawa County Health Center. She was born April 11, 1926 near Falun to Peter and Edith (Swanstrom) Peterson.

Dorothy was united in marriage with Victor R. Muller on June 22, 1947 in Lindsborg. She worked as a secretary for many years for the Soil Conservation office.

Dorothy was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a former Rock City Board member.

She was preceded in death by her husband Victor on August 22, 2008; and siblings Woodrow, Donald, and Warren Peterson.

Survivors include her son Paul Muller; daughters Gail Flint and Jean Welch; sisters-in-law Joyce Peterson and Donna Dietz; three grandchildren; one step-grandchild; three great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Wilson Family Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5-6. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
