Doris Evelyn (Haddock) Logan departed life on January 19, 2018 in Minneapolis, Kansas.  Doris was born on a farm near Lindsey, Kansas on November 7, 1925, to John and Faye (Hubbard) Haddock.  After attending Bennington High School for three years, Doris graduated from Minneapolis High School in 1943.  Doris and her sister Ruth moved into Minneapolis where they lived together and worked for the next four years.  Doris relocated to Kansas City in 1947 to work for Kohn Realty and for five years shared an apartment with her close friend Bonnie Eikelberger.  While there, she met Bonnie's cousin, Leland, who became the love of her life.  Doris and Leland were married on December 6, 1952 in Minneapolis, Kansas.  Their union lasted more than 58 years until Leland's passing on May 23, 2011.

In 1954, Doris and Leland moved to Minneapolis, where they lived many years in a beautiful farm home northeast of town.  They shared a love of travel, visiting all fifty states, the Caribbean, France, Germany, England, Switzerland, Tahiti, and Bora Bora.  Doris and Leland were devoted attendees of the First Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis.

Doris worked more than 33 years for the Ottawa County USDA Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service Office.  She was proud to have received an ASCS High Performance Quality Award for her service as Head Production Adjustment Clerk.

Her nieces and nephews, Don Channer, Lexa Channer, Karen Weixelman, Jana Fitzgerald, Candie Nichols, Lissa Windhorst, Mary Kris Roberson, Kurt Cramer, Mike Haddock, Arthur Logan, Paul Logan, Jane Logan, Jennifer Buck, and Joanna Chapman treasured her and lovingly referred to her as "Aunt Doe".  Doris truly enjoyed spending time with her numerous grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.

Doris is survived by her sister, Ruth (Haddock) Cramer of Glasco and sister-in-law Nancy (Spurlock) Haddock of Beloit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland, sister Dorothy (Haddock) Channer, and brothers Evan Haddock and Dean Haddock.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30 PM on January 27 ^th at the First Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis.  Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 102 E 2nd St, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
