Donna Sue Forgue, 64, of Minneapolis, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at her home. She was born September 10, 1961, in Hays, to Hubert and Evangeline (Newell) LaBarge.

Donna and Michael Forgue were married on July 4, 1980. She was the longtime produce manager at Gene's in Minneapolis and recently retired due to health reasons. Donna was known for her warm heart, listening ear, and genuine kindness toward others. She had a way of bringing comfort and brightness to those around her and especially cherished time spent with her family and grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was the love she shared with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Joey LaBarge.

Donna never met a stranger and had a special gift for making others feel welcome, valued, and cared for. Her smile, laughter, and joyful spirit brought happiness to countless family members, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Donna is survived by her husband, Michael Forgue Sr.; son, Michael Forgue Jr. and his wife, Candise; daughter, Melissa Hauck; siblings, Ronnie LaBarge, Marlene Trible, Jolene Greene, Linda Newell, and Sharon Forgue; and grandchildren, Wesley, Blake, Brantley, Conner, and Jaxson.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2026, at the First United Methodist Church, Minneapolis.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice or the First United Methodist Church and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
