Donald J. Serrien, 90, Minneapolis, died Saturday, April 20, 2019. He was born April 24, 1928 in Lincoln County to Louis and Minnie (Panzer) Serrien.

Donald was a United States Army veteran and he was a field technician for the A.S.C.S. for many years. He and Celeta Matson were united in marriage on October 3, 1954.

He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Celeta, on April 12, 2014; and his sister, Delouise Harbaugh.

Survivors are his sons, Kyle and Karl (Paula) Serrien; two grandchildren, Kollin (Nicole) and Kelsey Serrien; three step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 23 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00. Memorials may be made to the Bennington Community Library or the V.F.W. Auxiliary #3201 Fair Stand.
