Donald J. Gassman, 88, Minneapolis, died Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in Minneapolis.  He was born October 4, 1932 in Chapel, NE to John and Rose (Fross) Gassman.

After high school graduation, Don served in the United States Air Force for four years.  He and June Hollis were united in marriage on April 11, 1952 in Delphos.  Don's electrical career took him from Colorado, Florida, North Dakota, and Kansas.    He was preceded in death by his wife, June, in 2003.

Survivors are his children, Dennis (Becky) Gassman, Minneapolis, Debbie (Brad) Comfort of Minneapolis, Judi Loftin of Fort Smith, AR, and Jill Streit of Salina; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and his very special friend, Joan Barnum of Minneapolis.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis.  Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
