C.R. "Dick" Frain, 85, Minneapolis, died Wednesday, October 14, 2020.  He was born July 14, 1935 near Minneapolis to Theodore and Doris (Nelson) Frain.

He and Frances Van Meter were united in marriage on March 9, 1957.  Dick was a longtime farmer and bus driver for North Ottawa County Schools.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Fran; son, Sheldon (Denise) Frain; daughter, Barbara (Frank) Lafata; and brother, Robert (Dixie) Frain.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 19, 2020 at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis.  Visitation without the family present will be from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kyle Bretton to be used towards medical expenses from a recent accident and may be left in care of the funeral home.
