Delbert Reh "Del" Stanley, 83, Bennington, met Jesus, his Lord and Savior, face to face on Saturday, February 2, 2019. He was born December 3, 1935 near Bennington to H. Albert and Mildred (Reh) Stanley.

Del was a 1953 graduate of Bennington High School. He then served in the United States Army and was stationed in California. On October 11, 1959 he was united in marriage with Deanna Powell in Bennington. Del worked as a partner in Twin Valley Oil and for ADM for 26 years. He farmed and raised cattle. Del loved to milk the cows and raise chickens.

He was a devout Christian man who loved Jesus and his family. He and Deanna were founding members of the Bennington Bible Church. Del was also a lover of sports – especially football, basketball, track and cross country. He thoroughly enjoyed watching their grandchildren participate in these activities.

Del was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy Loy; and son-in-law, Jeff Giles.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Deanna; children, Dawn (Tim) Wolf, David (Sonja) Stanley, Dina Giles, Darcy (Jeri) Meyer, and Darren (Lora) Stanley; sister, Velta Lee; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 7 at the Bennington Bible Church. Burial will be in the Bennington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00. Memorials may be made to the Bennington Bible Church or Bennington E.M.S.
