Deanna K. Nash, 76, Minneapolis, died Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis.  She was born February 14, 1943 in Salina to A.J. and Irma (Stuck) Shanahan.

Dee was a longtime painter and decorator in Minneapolis.  She had a love for animals and her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Nancy, Sally, and infant sister Debbie.

Survivors are her children Brian Weis (Julie), Martin Nash (Danitra), Tammy Matthews, and Teresa Jones (Mick); grandchildren Cameron, Greyson, Indiana, and LeCrosse Matthews, Josh and Megan Weis, Jonathan, Erica, and Bradley Jones, and Ellis and Rudy Nash; great-grandchildren Finley and Boston Weis and Lukas Matthews; and siblings Tony, Bill, and J.P. Shanahan, Sue Porter, Judy Liby, Carolyn Kasper, Kathleen Garst, Jeanne Lee, and Jan Smith .

Private family graveside services will be held Friday in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ottawa County Health Center or Minneapolis E.M.S. and may be mailed to Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave, Minneapolis, KS 67467 .
