Dean Masters Hamilton, 93, Minneapolis, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis.

Dean, the oldest of nine children, was born July 1, 1930, in Henry Township, Ottawa County, to John H. and Myrtle Thelma (Masters) Hamilton.

Dean and Paula Detmer were united in marriage on August 25, 1972. He was a lifelong farmer and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Salina.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Bud Dewey; and siblings, James Larry, Carroll, Harvey, Lonnie, and Patricia.

Survivors are his wife, Paula; children, Stan Wohler and his wife, Elaine, Donna Dewey, and Elaine White and husband, Greg; siblings, Delilah Smith, Roy Hamilton and his wife, Anne, and Cleta Kinsman and her husband, Michael; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation without the family present will be from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday, November 19 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis.  Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 20 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, rural Minneapolis.  Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 834 N. Eleventh St., Salina.  Memorials may be made to the church and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis, KS 67467.
