Danny J. Startzman's Obituary
Danny J. Startzman, 92, Bennington, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018. He was born August 27, 1925 to Dan and Lillie Startzman.
Danny and Alice Fields were united in marriage on March 10, 1946. He worked for KDOT for 36 years, retiring June 1, 1995. He collected license plates and acquired them from all over the world.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alice; sister, Doris Johnson; and son-in-law, Keith Fisher.
Survivors are his children, Beverly Fisher and Sam Startzman and wife Ruth; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 13 at the United Church of Bennington. Burial will be in Bennington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00. Memorials may be made to the United Church of Bennington.
