Cody A. Thompson's Obituary
Cody Allen Thompson, 29, Culver, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the Salina Regional Health Center. Cody was born January 3, 1989 in Mainz, Germany to Rodney and Terri Thompson.
Cody was a 2007 graduate of Minneapolis High School. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Boy Scouts.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roger and Alice Thompson; and maternal grandfather, Allan "Dick" Wenthe.
Cody is survived by his parents, Pastor Rod and Terri Thompson, siblings, Becca Peters (Phil), Brian Thompson (Bobbi Jo), Heather Giles (Kevin), and Dustin Thompson; maternal grandmother, Marilou Wenthe; nieces and nephews, Dominyk, Tre, Tevin, C.J., Greyson, Ronin, Sereana, Layla, Bryce, and Hudson; and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 6 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tescott with Pastor Bill Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Sylvan Grove City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
