Cheryl Dianne Fritze was born April 24, 1950 at Salina, Kansas, the daughter of John M. Ronning and Nancy A. Stirn Ronning. She departed this life on Friday, July 17, 2009 at the Ottawa County Health Center in Minneapolis, Kansas. She had reached the age of 59 years 2 months and 23 days.
She was united in marriage to Robert H. Fritze on July 11, 1986 at Kansas City, Kansas. He preceded her in death June 3, 2003. Cheryl worked as a Certified Nurses Aide and Certified Medical Aide at the Ottawa County Health Center.
Cheryl was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church of Ada, Kansas.
Survivors include her son Andrew James Fritze of Minneapolis, and many relatives and friends.
The family suggests memorials to the Antioch Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Monday at the Wilson Shields Funeral Home, with the family present from 7 to 8 PM. The funeral will be at 9:30 AM Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Wichita Park Cemetery, Wichita.
