Charles Wayne Williamson went to be with his loving wife Shirley. He passed away on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at Good Samaritan Center, Minneapolis Kansas at the age of 80. He was born December 31, 1937 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Charles A. and Geraldine Williamson.

Charles joined the US Navy in January 1955 at the age of 16. He was discharged from the US Navy December 1959.

Charles and Shirley Briggs were united in marriage,November 1962 in Mankato, Kansas. He worked many jobs in his lifetime, some of those where in construction, welding, and restaurant management. Charles was an avid fisherman and hunter who liked to be outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; parents, Charles and Geraldine; brothers, Jerry and Gayle.

Survivors are brother, Raymond and sister, Lillian Johnson. Children, Charles (Cathy), Scott (Christa), Terry (Wayne) Clingman, Kevin (Vonna), Cindi (Andy)Srna, Larry, Brenda Thomson, Shirley Ann, Cindy Sue. He loved all of his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, Kansas, where family will receive friends. Graveside services will be Friday, June 1 at 11:00a.m., Elmwood Cemetery in Beloit, Kansas.
