Obituary

Carolyn Jean "Sunshine" Galbraith was born January 4, 1943 at Steel City, Nebraska, to Harold Leroy and Lucille Britt Brown. She passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the Salina Regional Health Center. She had reached the age of 65 years 6 months and 12 days.
She was united in marriage to Gary R. Galbraith July 15, 1989 at Tescott, where they made their home all their married life. She loved her home and being of service to her community.
Carolyn was a member of the American Legion Auxillary, the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Circle of Friends, all of Tescott. She was involved in the Family Support Group of the Kansas National Guard and volunteered at Kids Club and Vacation Bible School at the Tescott United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband Gary of the home; a brother Robert Brown of Casa Grande, Arizona; a sister Claudette Brooks of Beverly, Kansas; two half-brothers, Ed Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada and Bill Brown of Fairbury, Nebraska; two half-sisters, Lucinda Jansen, also of Fairbury, Nebraska and Nancy Roland of Aloha, Oregon and two brothers-in-law, Carter Brooks and Tim Galbraith.
Memorials may be made to the Tescott United Methodist Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Graveside services 10 A.M. Mon. at Beverly Cemetery. Visitation 2 to 8 P.M. Sun. at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis, with the family present from 3 to 5 P.M. Memorials may be made to the Tescott United Methodist Church and may left in care of the funeral home.
