Carol Ann Clements was born on December 25, 1947 in White City, Kansas, to Wilbert and Nancy (Hird) Rohloff. She passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the age of 68.

Carol was an amazing woman who touched so many lives. She showed her faith through Christ like love and perseverance in all things.
Carol loved when her house was full. Times when her son Gary was working on the race car, family dinners around the kitchen table, and when her grandchildren were young, running and playing. As time passed, she loved watching her great-grandchildren run and play as well.

She looked forward to her phone calls from her daughter-in-law as Teresa was driving to work on Wednesday mornings.
Carol always had a seat on the golf cart watching her husband, Ken, playing golf. She enjoyed listening to his golf stories and his golfing friend's stories too, even though some were exaggerated. Come springtime, she enjoyed planting flowers and tending to her rose bushes. Her backyard was always full of color and beauty.
She enjoyed doing cross stitching for family and friends while watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke, on television.

Carol babysat for 13 years. She worked at the Good Samaritan Center in Minneapolis, and also worked at the Presbyterian Manor in Salina.
In 1995, Carol was diagnosed with Primary Pulmonary Hypertension. She was put on the waiting list for a double lung transplant which took place in October 1997.

In 2014, she started having acute rejection which led her to traveling to St. Louis, Missouri once every month for treatments to help fight the rejection.

In all of her years following her transplant, Carol's strength and beliefs in Christ deepened and grew making her courageous to battle the rejection.

Carol is survived by her husband, Ken; her son Gary, and his wife Teresa; her daughter, Terri; two grandchildren Trenton and his wife Ashley; her granddaughter, Taylor; three great-grandchildren, Anabelle, Alexandrea, and Killian; her three brothers, Jerry and his wife Dixie, Jim and Gary; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. The family suggests no flowers and would like memorials to go to Hospice of Salina and they may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O.
