Bonnie Lou (Hines) Parker, 84, formerly of Minneapolis, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2016 in Salina, Kansas.

She was born July 19, 1932 in Granola, KS to Dorsey and Nola (Crozzar) Hines. On August 20, 1950 she was united in marriage to John Blaine Parker.  The couple moved to Minneapolis, Kansas in 1965. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and The First United Methodist Church in Minneapolis, Kansas

She is survived by her sons, Ronald Parker (Roberta) of Salina, Lonnie Parker (Carol) of Clay Center and Monty Parker (Denise) of Salina; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Dale Hines of Wellington; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband John.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 to 7:00 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where the family will receive friends from 5-7. Funeral services will be at 11:30 A.M., Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or to the First United Methodist Church, Minneapolis.
