Bonnie Christenson, 98, Tescott, died Tuesday, August 25, 2020 in Minneapolis.  She was born in Tescott on June 20, 1922 to Jay and Neva (Perry) Chambers.

Bonnie and Clay Christenson were united in marriage on April 18, 1942 at the Ottawa County Courthouse. At the time of Clay's passing, they had been married 75 years. They were longtime residents of Tescott.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Clay; and siblings, Cecil "Jack" Chambers, Howard Chambers, and Marniece Chambers.

Survivors include her; daughter Suellin Renninson; granddaughter Heather Berry; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Franklin Cemetery, Tescott.  Memorials may be made to Tescott Lions Club or the Tescott United Methodist Church and can be mailed to Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
