Anthony Faulkner, 79, Abilene, died Thursday, May 1, 2025, at his home. He was born in Northampton, England on June 9, 1945, to Reginald and Joan (Hastings) Faulkner.
Tony and Jean Brown were united in marriage on February 9, 1963. They moved from England to the United States in 1972. After attending Kansas State University, Tony worked many jobs including owning his own lawn service, tree trimming, and groundskeeper director for the Garden City School District. He and Jean also owned and operated Mummbbles Bar in Garden City for many years.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and in the evenings, he ran the Knights Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jean on September 23, 2024; daughter, Michelle; and granddaughter, Natosha.
Survivors are his daughter, Tracey Deutscher and her husband, Terry; brother, Graham Faulkner and his wife, Jan; grandchildren, Anthony Garcia and wife, Megan, Tyler Deutscher and wife, Taylor, and Taylor D'Alanno and husband, Wesley; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Indie, Phoebe, Lincoln, London, Remi, and River; and a niece, nephew, and many other family members across the pond.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the great-grandchildren's education fund and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
