Alice A. Hamm, 77, Salina, Kansas, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008 at Kenwood View Nursing Center.
Alice was born June 7, 1931 in Tescott, Kansas to Roy and Cecilia (Nelson) Bremerman. She was a graduate of Tescott High School. Alice worked as a phone operator for Southwestern Bell for 35 years. Alice was united in marriage with Robert H. Hamm on October 19, 1968 in Salina. She was a member of the American Telephone Pioneers and the Emmanuel Christian Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gary.
Alice is survived by her husband, Bob of the home; her son, Jim Hansen and his wife Debra of Richmond, Texas; her daughter, Jennifer Dolif and her husband David of Phippsburg, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Brooke Hansen, Paige Hansen, and Caleb Dolif.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 A.M., Friday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis with the Rev. Loren Houltberg officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery, Tescott. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:30 P.M. to 8 P.M. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina or the Emmanuel Christian Center and may left in care of the funeral home.
