Alfa F. Hamilton, 94, of Minneapolis, died Saturday, May 18, 2013. She was born April 7, 1919, in Delphos to Everett and Maud (Barrett) Allison.

She was united in marriage with Harold Hamilton on Nov. 2, 1944. She taught school for several years and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold, in 1988; and siblings, Paul, Everett and Ruth.

Survivors include her son, Ed Hamilton, of Bennington; daughter, Susa Hamilton, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sisters, Vesta Shannon and Elma Hood; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. today with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at United Church of Bennington.

Burial will be in Bennington Cemetery.
