Alda Jean McCready, 83, Bennington, died Wedneday October 7, 2009. Born Alda Jean Cooper March 31, 1926 at Lamar, KS. Married Frank C. McCready June 14, 1948.
Survivors: Husband Frank McCready; sons: Mark and Ted McCready, both of Mentor; Daughter: Beth Morrison of Salina; Daughter-in-law: Judy McCready of Minneapolis, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death: son, Myron McCready and brother, Darrel Cooper. Funeral: 10 A.M. Saturday, United Church of Bennington. Visitation: 2 to 8 P.M. Friday at Wilson Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis, with family present from 7 to 8 P.M. Memorials: In lieu of flowers to Tammy Walker Cancer Center or United Church of Bennington.
